Cookie Policy
Last updated: January 11, 2026

1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Noxtica ("we", "our", or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites and through our Services. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit, such as login status and preferences.
Similar technologies include:
- localStorage - Browser storage that persists until cleared
- sessionStorage - Browser storage that clears when the browser closes
- Web beacons - Small images used to track page loads (we do not use these)
3. How We Use Cookies
3.1 On Our Public Websites (noxtica.com, demo.noxtica.com)
| Storage | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
localStorage | Functional | Store device identifier for security and fraud detection | Persistent until cleared |
Note: We use the Noxtica collector on our own websites for security purposes (bot detection and fraud prevention). This stores a device identifier in localStorage to recognize returning devices. We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.
3.2 On the Backoffice Dashboard (backoffice.noxtica.com)
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
nox_session | Essential | Maintains your authenticated session | Session (24 hours) |
Session Cookie Details:
- HttpOnly: Yes (cannot be accessed by JavaScript)
- Secure: Yes (only sent over HTTPS)
- SameSite: Strict (not sent with cross-site requests)
- Path: / (applies to entire dashboard)
This cookie is strictly necessary for the Backoffice to function. Without it, you cannot remain logged in.
4. Noxtica SDK (On Customer Websites)
When customers deploy the Noxtica SDK on their websites, the SDK may use browser storage:
4.1 Default Behavior
| Storage | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
localStorage | Store device identifier for recognition | Persistent until cleared |
4.2 Configurable Options
Customers can configure the SDK to:
- Use
sessionStorageinstead (clears when browser closes) - Disable local storage entirely
- Use cookie-based storage (configurable)
Important: The Noxtica SDK itself does not set cookies by default. If your website uses the SDK, please consult your Noxtica account settings for your specific configuration.
4.3 Customer Responsibility
If you are a customer deploying the Noxtica SDK, you are responsible for:
- Disclosing the SDK's storage usage in your own cookie/privacy policy
- Implementing cookie consent mechanisms if required by law
- Configuring the SDK according to your legal requirements
5. Third-Party Cookies
5.1 Google Fonts
Our websites load fonts from Google Fonts. Google may set cookies or collect data according to their privacy policy. This is used solely for displaying fonts and not for tracking.
5.2 Cloudflare
Our websites are served through Cloudflare, which may use cookies for:
- Security (e.g., bot detection, DDoS protection)
- Performance optimization
These are essential operational cookies managed by our infrastructure provider.
6. Cookie Categories
We classify cookies into the following categories:

- Example: Session cookies for authentication
6.2 Functional Cookies

- We do not currently use functional cookies.

7.3 Impact of Disabling Cookies

8. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. We currently do not respond to DNT signals, as there is no industry-standard interpretation. We minimize tracking by design and do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
